Building the Incubator allows you to begin building Xenos - unique xenobiological Units and weapon systems developed from incomplete Imperial research into weaponizing alien life forms. Research the required Technology to purchase "Phantom" Infiltrators and "Excalibur" Platforms. You will need to complete further research and begin producing Bioplasma to start fielding the higher-level xenotype life forms, like Sandworms and "Nightmare" recon organisms. Use Antigen to A-mutate "Nightmare" Scout Units (The Sandworm cannot be A-mutated).

To build the Incubator:
1. Go to your Sector.
2. Click "Construction".
3. Open the "Military" tab and select the Incubator.
4. Choose a place in your Sector and start building.

"Reaper" Assault Hybrid

The "Reaper" Assault Hybrid is an offensive xenobiological organism encased in an armored chassis repurposed from conventional loading bot designs. Proven effective since early testing phases, their Titanium claws can tear through both armor and human flesh, while their Protocrystal-based myomere musculature gives them incredible endurance and reliability.

Sandworms (arenacola extraterrestriales) are predatory megafauna capable of digesting anything from organic tissue to durachrome alloy. Mature specimens may grow to over 70m and weigh over 240 metric tons. Despite a high initial cost for bioplasma gestation and augmentation, sandworms require fewer credits to maintain than a conventional force of comparable destructive power.

"Nightmare" Scout

"Nightmare" are organic recon Units with capabilities on par with those of normal recon drones - with one important difference. Nightmares will discharge a special weapons payload in the event of mission failure, ensuring enemy drone losses even if the scouting attempt does not succeed. This allows Commanders to wear down large drone swarms around hardened targets (i.e. Emitters).
