Vampire Units



The new Vampire King, Delthinas Veramme, has not forgotten his debt of honor! He has sent forth a terrible host of Vampire warriors to battle at our side, and the Children of Lovar - abandoned by their father long ago - have returned. Sheltered by the Goddess Mara, they have been granted Maranian Amulets to permit them to walk in daylight, and have gained augmented strength by her divine blessing.

Summoning these creatures of the night shall be no easy task. Firstly, you must participate in Global Quests, attacking and defending as many Battlegrounds as possible to earn Soulstones. Take your Soulstones to the Black Market and purchase the Scrolls for the Lost Arts required to summon Vampires. Be aware, my Lords and Ladies - you can only buy these scrolls for Soulstones - no Scribe will accept Gold or Sapphires for this dark knowledge.

Once you have raised the Altar of Mara, you will be able to make sacrificial offerings of Iron and Gold to earn Maranian Amulets. These Amulets will give you the power to summon and control these powerful new Vampire units: Seekers, Lost Ones, Priestesses, and Reiters.

It is only desperation that has driven us to this end, and I pray that my lords will not make me look back upon this day with shame and horror. Control your new dark allies well.

Infantry Units


Seeker

Bound by the Oath of Faith, the Seekers are chosen from amongst only most ancient of the Vampire castes. Merciless and cruel in combat, they lead the vanguard when a coven enters a new territory, and are among the few still alive who remember the original kindness of Mara. Each one would spill an ocean of blood before seeing her name dishonoured.

Reiter

There is but one being from the beyond that even the maddest of Necromancers dare not summon. Nameless, they cannot be commanded. Soulless, they cannot be bound. The "shepherds of the dead", the Reiters, can be called upon only those who have no soul left to pull into the Maelstrom - the Children of Lovar. Renegade

Undead Dragon

When Lovar decided to give vampire powers to the mighty Southern Dragons, he could not imagine the consequences – they could not bear this magic, lost their minds, and destroyed the southern lands along with their own homes. Mara took pity on them, and put Maranian Amulets on each dragon, granting them life. From that time, the Undead are in constant search of home and ready to defend your Castle.
