The archers of Persia are bloodthirsty and keen of eye, and known for using their bowstrings as a garrote should their quiver run empty. Countless warriors have fallen beneath the shadow of the Persian Archers' great clouds of arrows.
The Immortals were once the elite warriors of the Sogdian people, before they swore allegiance to Xerxes and became his personal guards. Respected and feared even by their fellow Persians, the Immortals spread death and destruction in Xerxes' name.
Wherever they go, the Asvaran, Persia's elite cavalry, leave a trail of ashen villages and mass graves. Legend has it that their horses drink the blood of their defeated foes, thus granting them immense strength and endurance.
