STRATCOM have been made aware that those Commanders risking their lives every day in the Wasteland are in need of a little more than airdrops and ground support – so we are rolling out a new system to aid those Commanders achieve their mission. This new system is referred to as “Echelon Status”.

A Commander under the effects of Echelon Status will receive many benefits and various powerful Bonuses, including improvements to all areas of Sector and Unit statistics. Once a Commander has collected enough Echelon Points, they may activate Echelon Status by using an Echelon Activator. Your Echelon Status will expire after a set amount of time, at which point you must reactivate it manually. You can earn Echelon Points simply from logging into the game every day. For each consecutive day you log into the game, you will be rewarded with an increasing number of Echelon Points.

Once you have amassed enough Echelon Points, you must activate your Echelon Status with an Echelon Activator. You can earn Echelon Activators as rewards for participating in various special game events, or simply purchase them at the Black Market, within the “Misc” tab.

Your Echelon Status must be “Active” in order for you to feel the benefits, so remember to keep an eye on when it expires and activate it whenever you can. To do so, go to the Black Market, open the “Misc.” tab and click “Apply” next to the Echelon Activator.

Your Echelon Status has multiple Levels, which can be reached simply by collecting Echelon Points. Click the “Echelon” icon along the top menu to view the Echelon Progress Bar along with the number of Points you must earn to reach the next Echelon Level. The Echelon window displays the following information:

  • Total number of Echelon Points;
  • Your current Echelon Level
  • Remaining time until your current Echelon Status expires;
  • Number of Echelon Points you will receive the next time you log in;
  • Your current Echelon Run, which shows the number of days you have played in a row.

As your total Echelon Points increase, so will your Echelon Level and the power of your accompanying bonuses when your Echelon Status is activated. Remember – the higher your Echelon Level, the greater your rewards!

Commanders would be wise to familiarize themselves with this new system before destroying this document.
